Visual impairment awareness training for theatre practitioners

As part of Pathways, Extant runs a two session training programme that aims to support a wide range of theatre practitioners with the understanding, skills and confidence to plan and deliver workshops, classes and rehearsal room activity to assist the inclusion of visually impaired participants.

The training will be run by visually impaired theatre practitioners who have completed Extant’s VI TAP ‘Train the Trainer’.

VI-TAP  has been delivered  to:

The Watermill Theatre, Camden People’s Theatre, London improv. groups, Guildhall School of Speech and Drama, Theatr Clywd, Commonwealth Theatre, The Actors Centre, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Young Vic.
