SuperPower Panto!

SuperPower Panto is a family show that comes to you flying off the pages of a giant tactile comic book set, bringing a host of fun packed characters who need your help to save the day!  Join our inclusive Super powered cast on an exciting, interactive, one hour long panto-style show that takes us on an adventure to find out where all our superpowers are. Come along and join in with Extant, the UK’s leading theatre company of visually impaired performers, and Simply Smiley the greatest all year-round panto touring company!

Touring  2023 to The Arena Wolverhampton 2 March, The Lowry Manchester 10 March, Northern Stage  Newcastle 17/18 March, Brixton House London 23/24 March … Other venues TBC.

Writers Kelly Griffiths and Paula Connolly, who is fresh from our Pathways Writers programme, are currently co writing our storyboard and script for the show. 

Jo Paul is consultant to our designer Rhianna Molina , who will be building the most exciting tactile popup book set. 

Crin Claxton is our lighting designer and Ian Rattray who is currently on our Pathways Crew and Design will be creating the sound design.   

Cast are Steven George, Michelle Felix, Chris Biggles and Angela Eyton, who are a mix of Extant visually impaired seasoned actors and panto pros from Simpley Smiley😊

We will also be joined during rehearsals by TV comedy star Kiell Smith-Bynoe to give us some tips here and there as he did in our R and D for SuperPower Panto in October 2021:
