Our Pathways Writers Showcase took place at Studio 4, Brixton House on 17th June!
Our 16 Pathways Writers each showcased a five minute duologue. Writers collaborated with directors, assistant directors and actors – to ensure that audio description was at the core of the performance.
Following the completion of our Open Script report by Grace Joseph – we presented a devised piece interpreting this report, and directed by Maria Oshodi – at the Showcase.
We had a full house, and are looking forward to the Zoom Watch Party on 27th July, 3-6pm: we will watch the film of the Showcase, followed by a Q and A with the writers. To attend, please email: [email protected]
Pathways Crew and Design will launch on Monday 18th July!
This is strand four of our Arts Council England funded flagship professional development programme for blind and visually impaired artists. Crew and Design will explore backstage roles including: costume, set, lighting and sound design, producing and stage management.
