No Dramas
These are free drama workshops for visually impaired adults, delivered by Extant.
Any and all levels of experience are welcome.
No Dramas sessions are led by visually impaired facilitators and are full of accessible drama exercises and fun games; they’re a great opportunity to build your confidence, develop new social connections and have a brilliant time.
Access support is offered throughout the sessions, and we can offer a meet and greet for those who need it.
Coming up in 2025
Our next London No Dramas session is on Monday 17th November, 6-8pm, at Battersea Arts Centre. This session will co-led by our Trainee Artistic Director, Tam Gilbert and Trainee Creative Producer, Ava Brewster.

No Dramas participant feedback:
“Extant brought out my love for the arts again even though I didn’t think I could access it being a blind person.”
“It gave me the opportunity to meet up with, socialise and network with other blind people, and the activities during the workshops helped me to think on my feet which is something I used to struggle with.”
“I’ve done the in-person and the online No Dramas, and I’ve really enjoyed it. I love drama anyway, but I really love the professionalism of it. I feel like I’m in drama school learning real techniques and thinking how and where I can I use them.”
“Extremely useful for socialising, inclusiveness and mental well-being. These sessions also help combat isolation and loneliness and build self confidence.”
“I feel like I can say to people that drama learning needs to be more like it is in No Dramas.”
