Extant CONNECT is our monthly online session for blind and VI people to network, talk, learn and share ideas, taking place on the last Monday evening of every month. For more information and joining information please contact [email protected]

Upcoming dates (all times are from 7pm to 8.30pm)

  • May – no session due to the bank holiday.
  • Monday 29th June –  Guest Speaker: Nick Coupe (Hat Trick Productions).

Nick will speak about the creation of a new audio comedy featuring a visually impaired actor, sharing insights into the development process, logistics, and the creative decisions behind the work.

  • Monday 27th  July The Future of Accessible Theatre.

A discussion-led session exploring where accessible theatre might be heading, including the role of technology (e.g. AI), creative audio approaches, and shifts in inclusive design. The session will invite participants to share their thoughts, experiences, and concerns, and consider how access can actively shape future creative practice rather than respond to it.

  • August – no session due to the bank holiday.
