Caroline Jeyaratnam-Joyner  

With a portfolio career, Caroline (she / her)  is an experienced producer, theatre arts practitioner, storyteller, trainer, programmer, reviewer and consultant. She designs, delivers and evaluates tailor-made programmes for marginalised, communities.

At Extant as Pathways programme manager January 2020-March 2023, she led this Arts Council funded professional development programme working with visually impaired directors, writers and Crew and Design. Along with the design and delivery of this professional development programme: she was Showcase Director for the three showcases at Cockpit Theatre, Brixton House and Canada Water Theatre.

Now in role as Enhance Training Manager, Caroline is overseeing this Paul Hamlyn funded Enhance 2 (post-production) programme 2023-26 across the U.K. Working with our experienced visually impaired facilitators and access team: she is producing training for the facilitator and access team, and liaising with venues to reach 54 theatre companies in total.

Caroline devises and directs participant – led theatre pieces and interactive storytelling programmes. She has designed and delivered masterclasses for participatory artists; and produced festivals/artist residencies. She is a Trustee at The Space Arts Centre.
