The short documentary Remembered Visions tells the story of visually impaired theatre and film director, artist and Extant’s Artistic Director, Maria Oshodi. The film explores her life and working methods, tries to find out where her artistic inspiration comes from and how she works as a blind person within a visual medium. The documentary makers accompanied Maria to rehearsals and set-building works for Extant's Digital R&D project Flatland, and explore her take on art, life and visual impairment.
The film is directed by London Film School student Norbert Strehle. The filmmakers are currently preparing to submit Remembered Visions to festivals around the world for screenings with audio description.
